HAVE A SEAT

Every healing story begins with a moment of honesty.

Less talk. More listening. It's really you and Jesus.

The Heart Behind the Ministry

I am simply His vessel

Priscilla M. Cannion, author and founder of Healing Stories by PMC

My journey began during my own season of healing. After walking through profound pain and the long, honest work of recovery, I discovered that healing rarely begins with having all the answers. It begins with the courage to sit down, tell the truth, and allow God to meet us in our story.

Through my writing and these reflections, I create space for those walking through their own valleys. This is not a place of easy answers or quick fixes. It is an invitation to reflect, to breathe, and to encounter Christ in the places that still hurt.

Less talk. More listening. It's really you and Jesus. I am simply His vessel. Christ is the answer.

A Testimony of His Faithfulness

My Healing Journey

  1. The Early Years

Wounds That Words Could Not Reach

Childhood struggles and pain I did not have language for. I learned to carry what I could not yet name, and to survive in silence.

  2. The Valley

    Seasons of Pain

Years marked by confusion, brokenness, and questions that seemed to have no answers. I was delivered in many ways, yet still searching for true healing.

  3. The Turning

    Injury, Stillness, and Recovery

A season that forced me to stop running. In the stillness, I finally sat down with God and began to tell the truth about my story.

  4. The Light

    Discovering Real Healing

I learned that deliverance and healing are not the same. Healing came as I allowed Christ to meet me in the places that still hurt.

  5. The Calling

    Writing the Books

God turned my testimony into words. Hear Our Cry Know Our Pain and my memoir were born out of the very wounds He was binding up.

  6. Today

    Helping Others Heal

Now I create space for others to sit, reflect, and encounter Christ. I am simply His vessel — and the invitation remains open.

The Prayer Chair

What Are You Carrying Today?

A Prayer

“Lord, I bring You the weight I have carried for so long. I do not have the words to fix it, and I do not need them. I only need to sit here with You. Meet me in this place. Quiet my heart, and let me listen.”

A Reflection

What is the one thing you have been afraid to say out loud? Imagine setting it down on the chair beside you. You do not have to hold it any longer.

Scripture

“Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.”

Matthew 11:28

Encouragement

You do not have to perform here. There is no pressure, no rush, no judgment. Just sit. Less talk. More listening. It is really you and Jesus.

A Symbolic Release

Leave It at the Chair

Name the burden, the fear, the regret, or the memory you have been carrying. Write it down, release it, and watch it dissolve into the light. Nothing here is saved or stored — this moment is simply between you and Jesus.

It is released. You do not have to carry it alone.

Gentle Truth

What Healing Is Not

  • Healing is not forgetting.

  • Healing is not pretending.

  • Healing is not excusing abuse.

  • Healing is not denying pain.

  • Healing is not perfection.

Healing is allowing God to meet us where we are.
